Concrete Floor Epoxy: The Process
December 11, 2018
First, all furniture is moved off of the floor. Next, the grinder is used to create a surface profile to enable proper adhesion for the epoxy. The area is then vacuumed and mopped. Next, any cracks in the concrete are filled. Once dry, the first coat of epoxy is applied. Then, flakes of your desired color and size are spread over the floor evenly. Once this has set, the area is scraped and vacuumed again to remove excess flakes. Finally, a clear coat epoxy is applied. This leaves you with an attractive, easy to clean, non-slip, durable surface.
